Derrick's Story

Full upper arch reconstruction · 10 units · Shade BL4 · Comprehensive rehab, phased over multiple visits

Derrick came to us with a smile he had stopped showing. The anterior teeth on his upper arch were fractured down to the nerve in places, patched with failing bonding, and pushing him toward the point where every meal was a calculation. He wasn't looking for a shortcut. He wanted the kind of rebuild that would still look right in fifteen years.

— Brittany Sullivan, Office Manager & Hygienist

before & after

Same angle, same day of records.

Same clinical angle, so nothing is stylized. This is what the mouth actually looks like now.

the four-layer formula

How Dr. Sullivan planned it — the four layers of Derrick's case.

Aesthetics

A smile Derrick could stop hiding — and one that read as his, not an obvious dental rebuild.

Functional

Restoring the ability to eat, speak, and hold a bite together without the anterior teeth fighting each other.

Structure

Ten new units on the upper arch — crowns and veneers — planned to distribute force evenly and hold up under years of real use.

Biology

The remaining tooth structure, gums, and bone had to be evaluated honestly before any of the aesthetic work started.

shade selection

The shade — BL4.

Derrick chose the brightest bleach shade available. That decision drove every unit in the arch, from the temporary provisionals to the final crowns. It's an aggressive choice, and it's what he wanted. The team matched it precisely.
