Before the exam starts, we take intraoral photos and put them on the screen next to you. What would you change about your smile? Your answer changes the plan.
How does your bite come together? Do you clench, grind, wake up with a headache? Is your jaw clicking or locking? Is your airway supporting sleep or fighting against it?
The teeth themselves. Their integrity, the existing dental work, what is holding up, what is failing quietly. This is where second opinions happen.
The bone and the gums. Everything above the gumline rests on what is below it. Chronic inflammation or bone loss changes the plan.

We still do the full exam — but treatment is your choice. If the only thing you want us to fix today is that one tooth, we do that. The other layers give you information for later.
